Mediation & ADR

Mediation is a process which aims to facilitate the resolution of disputes between parties without the need, cost and stress of commencing or continuing legal proceedings. It consists of both parties, often their representatives and an unbiased third party to direct and lead as smooth a conversation as possible. The process of mediation often leads to a successful, and legally binding resolution. If you have a dispute, consider the mediation alternative.

Arbitration is a process which provides an alternative to court proceedings. Unlike mediation, which may or may not result in a mutually agreed resolution, the process of arbitration results in a binding resolution with the same effect as a Court Order. In addition, unlike court proceedings, arbitration proceedings are private and typically results in the settlement of matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.
